About us

Based on the River Thames in Teddington

The Skiff Club is the oldest skiff club in existence, it was founded in 1895.

We welcome new members – whether you want to race or just enjoying being on the River Thames in a skiff or punt.

We are based on the Middlesex bank of the River Thames, on the non-tidal waters between Teddington Lock and Kingston.

Are you a racer?  Love being on the river? Like to try a new sport? A social butterfly?

Whether you’d like to race or and benefit from our extensive gym and facilities or you enjoy social days rowing along a river with a picnic in tow The Skiff Club welcomes everyone.

We are a very friendly club who all enjoy the benefits of getting out on the river and having fun.  We have members of all ages from 12 – 80. Our club has a busy calendar of regattas for both skiffing and punting.

We have club taster sessions where you can come along and have a go. Please see the link lower down to find out more.
