Our Twenty Boats

Our oldest boats were built in the 1890s by R J Turk (and we think they are beautiful). More recently in 2012 we had a new pair of doubles built by Mark Stanley in Windsor, and in 2014 another set of matched doubles built to row the length of the Mississippi River.

1897

The first ever set of 3 matched double skiffs built specially for racing:

1978

Built about 1970 as a one-off single, bought by Pete Townsend of the WHO, when he was living in Twickenham:

1995

A set of doubles built to celebrate the club’s first 100 years! Known as the ‘centenary’ doubles
