Sunbury Regatta turned out to be a somewhat quiet affair, with many straight finals in the Skiffing & no Punting at all !!!

Unlike past years, Sunbury seems to have fallen foul of the general low turnout to events this year, despite this regatta offering a variety of attractions around the grounds. However our limited entry produced a very respectable results tally.

Bill Taylor and Roger Hughes coxed by  Heather Bateman  had their first win of the season together in the Gents Veterans Doubles race.

Dave Sawtell this time around hadn’t frightened off his opposition & got to succeed in his straight Gents Junior singles final.

Flushed with success, Dave Sawtell, partnered by Viv Gunn won in the Mixed Novice Doubles, which makes them both our top two racers so far this year.

Overall the host team, SSPC drew with DSPC to lift the Victor Ludorum trophy for the most wins of the day.
